To ensure the proper chain of custody for your hard drives we record the serial numbers on the hard drives we destroy.  With your Certificate of Destruction you will receive the list of the serial numbers of the hard drives that were destroyed.  This will provide you a list which you can audit to ensure that you are managing you hard drives properly.
